Can we renew Symantec Backup Executive software after expiration??

Dear Support Team,

We are using 2 licnese of Symatec Backup executive software since last five years, and Its renewal date was 7-Jan-2013 .Every year we purchased the renewal for 1 year, but this time we forget to buy renewal, So is it possible to renew it now because its already expired.

Please also tell me, what is the maximum period of renewal after date of expiration??.
